🫖 The Tea Shop

Get cozy with a cup of tea.

Nothing brings me more contentment than unwinding at the end of the day with a good book and a comforting cup of tea.

These are the teas I enjoy daily, and I'm excited to share them with you!

“Tea time is a chance to slow down, pull back and appreciate our surroundings.” Letitia Baldrige

I’ve put together a few pairing to help you indulge in the comfort of a Jane Austen's novel, perfectly paired with my favorite Harney & Sons teas. But you can feel free to pair them with whatever your currently reading for cozy vibes.☕

Here are some of my favorite Harney & Sons teas that I highly recommend:

Pride and Prejudice & Victorian London Fog

Experience the wit and romance of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy while savoring the rich blend of black teas enhanced with bergamot, citrus, sweet vanilla and lavender. This tea evokes the aroma of a traditional London Fog (another one of my favorite. It makes the think of Darcy and Elizabeth sitting in the Pemberley library reading well into the Victorian era. This tea will add a touch of Victorian charm to your reading.

Sense and Sensibility & Earl Grey Imperial

Join the Dashwood sisters on their journey through love and heartbreak, accompanied by the classic elegance of Earl Grey Imperial. This blend combines black tea with hints of bergamot, offering a refined taste that mirrors the novel's exploration of sense and sensibility. It reminds us that extremes either way are never good. Sometimes, moderation is the best balance.

Emma & Taste of British History Blend

Delight in the matchmaking misadventures and mystery of Emma Woodhouse with a cup of Taste of British History Blend. This tea offers a unique flavor that transports you to the British countryside, much like Emma's charming village of Highbury.

I find this one to be a perfect every day tea.

Northanger Abbey & Paris Tea

Embark on a gothic adventure with Catherine Morland and the sophisticated blend of Harney & Sons’ Paris Tea. This black tea combines hints of vanilla, fruit, and a touch of caramel, creating a taste that mirrors the novel’s mix of whimsy and intrigue. Perfect for savoring while unraveling a mystery.

This is my go-to tea!

Join Anne Elliot on her journey of resilience and rediscovery with a cup of Harney & Sons’ Queen Catherine Tea. This strong and complex blend of three black teas is a tribute to the strength and grace of one of Austen’s most enduring heroine. Enjoy it while diving a story of lost love and longing.

“Each cup of tea represents an imaginary voyage.” – Catherine Douzel

Harney & Sons is the only brand of tea I've purchased since my mom brewed me a cup and insisted I try it a few years ago after she discovered their delicious blends.

They are a family-owned business since 1983, founded by John Harney, who began his journey by blending teas in his basement in Salisbury, Connecticut.
